Playground Fundraiser
Our beloved playground was first established in 1992. New play structures were added in 1997 and 2011, with minimal improvements in the meantime. Since the initial installation, many children and families have touched the wooden boards and slides creating formative memories and experiences.
Now is the time to create a new space on the playground for even more children to enjoy! We would greatly appreciate it if you would consider donating to Westminster School for Young Children to enhance our playground and create opportunities for future Westminster children. None of this will be possible without the generous support of the WSYC community! Please forward the link on to your family, friends, relatives, neighbors, etc. In addition to phase one of this playground renovation, WSYC will also be hosting an Eagle Scout project this summer to improve the playground area, which includes a new mud kitchen, slope slide, tree cookie patio, and picnic tables.

​One More Day is an opportunity for the students to be with their friends to play mainly outside (weather permitting) while being supervised by a team of WSYC Advisory Board Members and approved Substitutes from 9:00am-12:00pm for $50. The money raised go towards our scholarship fund with tuition assistance for students to attend WSYC in future years. Our Carol Van Hise Scholarship Fund was established in 1994 with the recognition of her 25th anniversary as Director of Westminster School for Young Children. We thank her for over 50 years of love, nurture, and guidance to the students, and many thanks to the families who have made donations to our Scholarship Fund over the years through participation in our Spirit Events.

If you are interested in registering your child, please fill out the One More Day Registration Form and pay the non-refundable $50 per day online (with a convenience fee already added), by cash or check made out to WSYC. Age groups may be determined based upon the number of children in attendance. Please bring a labeled water bottle and extra change of clothes (plus diapers and wipes if needed).​
Save the date for our Spring Fling fundraiser on Saturday, April 12th from 3:30-5:30pm. Spread the word and help us collect donations for our raffle baskets. Items may include gift cards, coupons/discounts for local businesses, marketing items, specialty gifts, etc. Spring Fling tickets will go on sale in March. The ticket price includes all offered activities, food, and lots of fun! Thank you in advance for your generosity and consideration.
Summer Camp Registration for 2025 is available now. The dates are below:

Two Year Olds may attend any session of Summer Camp from 9:00am-12:00pm. Three Year Olds (who are fully potty trained) through entering Kindergarten in the fall may attend any session from 9:00am-1:00pm daily with a lunch packed from home. Toddlers and first time Two's can attend MWF during Session 4 from 9:00am-12:00pm.

Do you have jars of spare change or coins laying around your house that you do not know what to do with? Bring them to WSYC for our 3rd annual event on Monday, March 17th-Friday, March 21st for your children to throw into a POT OF GOLD to raise money to benefit the Carol Van Hise Scholarship Fund.
​
Also, remember to wear your GREEN WSYC t-shirts on Monday, March 17th in honor of St. Patrick's Day. There will be both child and adult sizes to purchase that morning.
Good goes beyond the sub! Join us on Monday, March 24th. In support of WSYC, we're happily donating 50% of sales ALL DAY (10AM-9PM). Stop by, order for your office or neighbors, and help Jersey Mike's support this worthy cause.
