WSYC desires that Teachers have a four-year college degree in any field with a preference in Early Childhood or Elementary Education, Child Development, or Family and Consumer Sciences, experience teaching children ages 1-5, and are up to date on their vaccines. A Teacher would work closely with another Teacher and is responsible to share in the supervision, planning, and instruction for a group of children. Both Teachers and Assistants are contracted for a half hour before class starts and a half hour afterwards with part time benefits such as paid holidays and paid time off.
